Dal 27 agosto, il Teatro Dimora di Mondaino accoglierà in residenza Hamdi Dridi, artista francese di origini tunisine, nell’ambito del Progetto Europeo Stronger Peripheries: A Southern Coalition. L’artista porterà avanti una ricerca che vede protagonista la cucina, con i riti e i gesti ad essa collegati, da trasformare in danza e materiale coreografico.
Durante i giorni di residenza, Hamdi Dridi vorrebbe condividere con appassionati di cucina, amatori del mondo del cibo, della pasta fatta in casa, le sperimentazioni e le ricerche per il suo nuovo progetto coreografico DANS(E) HOUSE and constellations.
Il materiale gestuale creato e condiviso durante gli incontri definirà un nuovo vocabolario coreografico che sarà l’ingrediente principale per lo sviluppo del lavoro in teatro dell’artista e delle performer che lo accompagneranno. L’esito di questa ricerca verrà presentato in forma di prova aperta venerdì 6 settembre alle 19.30.

Starting on Tuesday, August 27, Teatro Dimora in Mondaino will welcome Hamdi Dridi, a French artist of Tunisian origin, in residence as part of the European Project Stronger Peripheries: A Southern Coalition. The artist will pursue a research that features cooking, with the rituals and gestures connected to it, to be transformed into dance and choreographic material.
During his residency days, Hamdi Dridi would like to share his experimentation and research for his new choreographic project DANS(E) HOUSE and constellations with cooking enthusiasts, lovers of the world of food and homemade pasta.
The gestural material created and shared during the meetings will define a new choreographic vocabulary that will be the main ingredient for the development of the artist’s and the accompanying performers’ work in theater. The outcome of this research will be presented in the form of an open rehearsal on Friday, September 6, at 7:30 p.m.
